Choose this 5-inch 16 Series swivel for the front of a heat-treat or annealing cart, the cast iron caster whose wheel steers through heat to 800°F while the taller diameter clears a thicker hot-shop seam.
Rubber gives by 180°F and phenolic chars past 250°F; the 16 Series cast iron wheel carries the highest load and steers through radiant heat to 800°F, and the 5-inch diameter clears a thicker furnace-room seam than a 4-inch. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
