About This Tool - 16-001-600
The 72-inch Johnson bar is a long-handled lever for moving loads that are too heavy to lift, sliding a steel toe plate under a machine, crate, or stacked skid and rolling it up on the bar's own fulcrum wheel.
The length is the whole point: 72 inches of handle multiplies the force at the toe, so one person can raise a corner that would take several to lift, then nudge it sideways to set it on a pallet, a dolly, or its final footprint. Using a forklift or shoulders for that same inch-at-a-time placement is how loads get dropped and backs get hurt. The roller fulcrum lets the load move forward as it lifts instead of just tipping.
Use it for
- Walking a machine base onto leveling mounts a corner at a time
- Lifting a loaded pallet enough to slip a pallet jack underneath
- Repositioning a crate or die in a tight bay without a forklift
Reach for it alongside the rest of the gear in the Material Handling collection.
