About This Caster Fork - 41G42I-01

This is the rigid fork for a 4-inch by 2-inch wheel, the steel yoke you add a wheel and axle to when you build a fixed caster from parts or replace a fork that a forklift or a dropped load has bent.

A caster fork takes the hit the wheel passes up, and a tweaked rigid yoke is the quiet reason a cart suddenly tracks crooked or drags a wheel at an angle. Rather than scrap a good wheel and brake, you press the wheel into a fresh fork and the caster runs true again. This is the rigid version, so it holds its line and does not swivel, which is what you want on the trailing corners of a cart that needs to push straight.
