About This Caster - PTW50101BK-B
Use this 50mm Source II swivel on the corner of a small flat-framed cart that rolls and then has to stay put on a sloped or busy floor.
It bolts down through a 1-1/2 by 1-1/2 inch top plate, and a tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel stays free. The Source II is an all-nylon build, body and wheel both, which keeps it economical, and the white nylon wheel resists moisture and chemicals and holds to 250°F. The plain bearing keeps the roll simple, and the small footprint suits a light electronics or utility deck.
Ideal applications
- Small top-plate corners that park on a grade or in traffic
- Light electronics and utility carts held still on a budget
- Economical nylon wheels braked near heat or chemicals to 250°F
If the corner only rolls, the plain top-plate PTW50101BK drops the brake.
