About This Caster - 16SZ06227R
Set this 6-inch 16 Series rigid under a cart that crosses rough or cracked floor, the semi-pneumatic caster that cushions the ride like an air tire but cannot go flat because there is no tube to puncture.
A hard wheel hammers a fragile load over expansion joints and broken concrete, and a real pneumatic tire picks up a nail and deflates; the 16 Series Monoprene semi-pneumatic tread on a zinc-plated aluminum center flexes to soak up the shock with no air to lose. The radial ball bearing rolls it true, and the rigid fork tracks the cart straight while front swivels steer. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.

Skip the semi-pneumatic wheel if the load is heavy and constant or works near heat over 180°F; a phenolic 16TM06201R carries the steady load and takes the heat where a cushion tread gives.
