About This Caster - 110FR08201SFBC
Build this 8-inch ductile iron swivel into the heaviest hot cart that rolls long over debris and then has to park and hold, where a smaller wheel stalls, a kingpin shears, and grey cast iron cracks on a hard hit.
The 8-inch diameter rolls over scale and joints that stop a smaller wheel and keeps a loaded cart moving down a long run, while ductile iron flexes under a shock that splits a brittle grey cast iron wheel and holds a hard load to 800°F. Albion's 110 Series rides fully heat-treated, kingpinless raceways with no kingpin to shear, the face brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart once it is staged, and the roller bearing turns the weight at a slow pace.
