Choose this 3-inch braked nylon swivel for institutional equipment that works around heat or chemicals and has to be parked and held in place at a station.
The side brake throws a lever against the wheel to lock it, so the cart holds still while it is loaded or worked, and the solid nylon wheel takes the 250°F heat and the cleaning chemicals that ruin rubber and steel. The precision bearing keeps it rolling smoothly when released, and the top plate bolts to a flat equipment frame. It is the braked version of the BMS institutional swivel.
Ideal applications
- Food-service and lab equipment parked at a station, sealed floor
- OEM carts that run warm or get washed down and must hold still, multi-shift
- Institutional rigs needing a chemical-resistant wheel and a brake, finished floor
