About This Wheel - DSPK 50K
Choose this 50mm Blickle DSPK double-flanged wheel when a compact rail-guided mechanism runs on small angle-iron track in tight space.
The wheel is machined heat-treatable steel with twin flanges that straddle the rail and a V-shaped tread that seats on the corner of angular steel track. At 50mm it is the compact size in the DSPK range, suited to sliding gates, small transfer mechanisms, and guided assemblies where a larger wheel will not fit. Steel on steel gives extremely low rolling resistance so the mechanism moves with little effort, and the wheel turns on a ball bearing. The machined surface is lightly oiled for corrosion protection, and it holds from -4 to 248°F. As a small hard steel wheel it belongs on its matching steel track rather than open floors.
