About This Caster - ER6X2PHNTBK
Set this 6-inch phenolic rigid on the back corners of a heavy oven-line cart that crosses a rough hot floor and then has to hold, where a roller bearing carries the load and the brake locks the corner.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint, rolls with low resistance, and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The roller bearing carries the weight, the 6-inch wheel rolls over seams and debris, and the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still. The rigid fork keeps it tracking straight, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of heavy oven-line carts, parked and held
- Roller bearing under load on a 6-inch wheel
- Tread lock holding a cart on a rough hot floor
