Specify the MM120118 under a heavy machine that needs both isolation and reach, a 5-inch cushioned base on a long 5/8-11 x 8 stud that lifts a tall frame off the floor and damps what it sends down.

The big pad and coarse thread are sized for serious mass, and the long stud is the detail that sets this apart: a heavy machine with high legs or a deep base needs travel to come level, and 8 inches of 5/8-11 gives it. A short stud forces shimming, which defeats the isolation by re-coupling the frame to the floor through hard packers. Here the cushion carries the load and the long rod sets the height, so nothing bridges the rubber.
